Craftiness - Felt cacti

My stepsister gave me a felt cactus craft kit for Christmas. I'd expressed some interest in it early in the year; it looked like a fun project, but wasn't exactly something I would buy for myself.

And it turns out, I have a lot of fun felting things. So much so, that I might pick up some more felting tools, and make little stuffed animals out of the corgi's shedding.

Despite all the little needle pricks in my fingertips, I really want to do more, want to see what else I can do with it.

I didn't think of taking pictures of my saguaro cactus, but he came together nicely. Just pokepokepoke while watching movies. Hubby had to admit it's pretty cute, that it reminds him of something from Looney Toons.

I had plenty of material left, so I started to make one for my stepsister. She gave me something fun to enjoy, so I wanted to share that with her. Took pictures along the way this time, and it went so much faster. And a lot less bloody, though I did jab myself pretty hard several times.

Now all that's left is for me add a little ribbon around the jar for decoration.
