Greetings and Salutations.
Because my stories have bite, they can contain content that isn't suitable for work or children. Not a lot of truly graphic sex or violence, but there are some questionable or heated posts. F-bombs are not uncommon, so watch your footing.

WORLDS Anthology launch

Pick up your copy from Amazon and get a taste of dark scifi from a variety of authors.
It's rather a beautiful thing to see my name in print again. And not just on my own works. Someone else thinks my writing is worth reading, and they accepted my stories into Dark Drabbles WORLDS.

The group over at Black Hare Press are amazing. The first editors to actually tell me something was wrong with my actual file, not just that my story was not for them. I'm so excited to work with everyone there, and I can't thank them often enough. Can't wait to see the rest of the anthologies as they come out!

When I first saw the call for submission, I wasn't sure how I felt about doing science fiction. ANGELS and MONSTERS were up my alley, of course, but I've never been a big scifi writer. Of course, these were supposed to be microfictions and dark, so it wouldn't hurt to try.

They were fun pieces to write, and I'm hoping you find them to be fun to read.

I don't talk about how much it hurt to lose my desire to write for as long as I did, but it was pretty rough. I've enjoyed my Friday flash stories, and have no intention of stopping, but there is a deep-seated need for validation that I've been longing for. I don't need to have my ego stroked and be told I'm a pretty bird all the time, but there is something ineffable about having a story accepted for publication.

This renewed confidence will carry me to other projects. I've already got more stories in the works, off for submission and in the rough draft stage, and I will keep you updated on all the releases. Thank you for coming with me.
